Communications & Logistics Intern, Musique Nomade

Description of Organization 

Musique Nomade is a non-profit organization that works for the development and recognition of Indigenous talents and identities in music, a key partner of artists in creation and promotion. 

 

Responsibilities and deliverables 

  • Participate in creating communication and promotional content for Musique Nomade and the artists’ digital platforms; 
  • Measure, collect and present usage data for various Musique Nomade’s platforms; 
  • Collaborate in updating databases, production documents and music catalogs; 
  • Collaborate on the logistics planning of touring artists’ shows; 
  • All other tasks in support of the communications manager and the logistics coordinator. 

 

Assets and Requirements   

  • Candidates who are First Nation, Metis, and Inuit will be prioritized
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English 
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating in a multi project environment 

 

Duration: September 6 – November 29, 2024 (possibility to start onboarding earlier)

*All OCE interns are also welcome to come co-work at the SHIFT Centre (LB-145) throughout the work week. 

 

Hours: 180 hours total (roughly 15 hours a week) 

 

Remuneration: $3,600 

Please note that the OCE internship payments are made as honorariums, sent in 2 instalments at mid-semester and the end of the semester.
