THE OPPORTUNITY
Loyola High School is seeking a creative and collaborative Multimedia Content Coordinator to create and
produce high-quality, engaging content across various channels. Reporting to the Director of
Communications and Marketing, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in elevating the school’s
online presence and storytelling through impactful video content that reflects our institution’s values
and mission.
The incumbent is also expected to actively support all facets of the Development Office, with a particular
focus on the creation of marketing materials that amplify Loyola High School’s rich legacy and
community spirit. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the launch of Loyola High School’s
comprehensive fundraising campaign and to other activities and events as needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Be the lens through which Loyola’s most significant moments come to life by capturing the
day-to-day life at Loyola High School and sharing it with the broader Loyola community.
● Create, write, edit, and publish compelling social media and video content for various platforms,
including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
● Work closely with the Director of Communications and Marketing in planning, storyboarding,
and optimizing videos and photos for the website and social media.
● Collaborate with the Director of Communications and Marketing to implement traditional and
digital content strategies connecting Loyola’s story with its renewed vision and mission. This
involves strengthening our brand position and engaging the Loyola community to fulfill Loyola’s
marketing and campaign objectives.
● Contribute to the production of content and impact reports for donors and prospects and
participate in the creation of Loyola’s Annual Report on Giving and Loyola Today.
● Support major school events, including but not limited to, Open House, donor engagement, or
fundraising events.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
● Bachelor’s degree in the Arts or a related field
● A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in video production, including filming and
editing.
● Highly proficient with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and other design programs is an asset.
● Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign and other relevant design tools is an
asset.
● Experience working in social media and/or content management (Facebook, Instagram) and
knowledge of social media best practices.
● Ability to perform well under tight deadlines and flexibility to work occasional evenings and
weekends, as required for school events.
● Familiarity with digital equipment, including cameras, audio equipment and basic lighting.
● Passion for video digital marketing and strong awareness of emerging social media trends
● Familiarity with the Jesuit, Catholic tradition, primarily in an educational context, is a strong
asset.
● Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written, is required.
● Team player with a positive attitude and demonstrates initiative.
● Other duties as assigned.
This position requires the incumbent to work on-site 100% of the time.
